owner really makes an effort to ensure you feel welcomed, which adds to the experience. The shower facilities were great, and the friendly atmosphere made our stay enjoyable. Just a bit more soundproofing would have made it perfect.

Shared bathrooms cleanliness needs to be seriously addressed!!! Stains on bedding create a real concern!!! Heating issues in rooms could be a dealbreaker for some, affecting comfort during stay!!!

My experience was marred by the filthy conditions of the room. There were stains on the bedding that were beyond disgusting and gave the impression it hadn't been properly cleaned. the overall atmosphere of the place felt neglected, causing a sense of unease about hygiene. The shared bathroom facilities were tiny and poorly maintained, creating a dreadful experience overall.

words cannot express how disappointed i was with my stay. i thought a clean room was a given, but found broken & stained bedding instead. also, no one even offered a complimentary gesture for the trouble caused. the tiny toilet situation was just a cherry on top of this delightful disaster! i just couldn’t recommend this place.

We were switched to another place due to some last-minute building work, but the owner kept us in the loop and got us cozy rooms nearby. I loved chilling in the garden and enjoying a refreshing drink in the lounge area. The only downside was the slight smell lingering from somewhere, but it didn’t dampen our spirits. 😊

my stay at the abinger was quite unexpected! the excellent communication from the owner really stood out, ensuring we were directed to cozy nearby rooms when ours was unavailable. it exceeded my previous stay in leicester as we found it lovely and quiet, making for a great party atmosphere.
